How do I invite a customer to my organisation and allow them to set up their password?

Once you have added a contact to your account, you can choose to send out an organisation invitation which includes a link to either sign-in or set up a password

 

Note: To Manage your organisation invitation template, and customise your message as needed, navigate to Home > Settings > Communication > Email Templates. 

The system template you need is 'organisation invitation'.

 

Steps

  • Navigate to Home > Contacts
  • Select your contact > open the Manage menu in the left side-menu
  • Choose Invite to organisation

 

  • This action will send an email to the address associated with the Account Owner,  like the example below:

 

Depending on whether your customer already has a JoinIn account, the link in the email will either prompt them to 'Create a password' or 'Login to JoinIn'.
