This article will explain how to add new contacts to your JoinIn profile and how to keep the details of your existing contacts up-to-date.
Adding new contacts to your JoinIn profile
Via the JoinIn checkout
When you make a purchase from an organisations online shop, you have the option to add a new contact to your JoinIn profile in the 'Who are you buying for?' section during the checkout process:
- Click 'Add new person'
- Fill out the form
- Click 'Add'
- Proceed through checkout
Via the 'Friends and Family' section
You can easily add new contacts and manage your current contacts directly from your JoinIn account.
- Navigate to the Friends and family tab using the left-side menu
- Fill out the form
- Click 'Submit'
To edit an existing contacts information:
- Open the 'Personal information' section under their name
- Edit the information as required
- Click 'Submit'
Removing contacts from your JoinIn account
If one of your contacts is no longer associated with the club/organisation you originally signed them up to, we recommend contacting the club directly to ensure that the contact is fully removed from any billing or communications. If you simply want to delete their JoinIn profile — perhaps because it was created by mistake — you can follow the steps outlined below.
- Open the 'Personal Information' section under their name
- Click the bin icon at the top right
- Click 'Yes' to confirm
Note: As the account owner, you can not delete your own record. To have your details fully removed from the system, please contact help@loveadmin.com and a member of the support team will be happy to help!
