Product Sales report

The Product sales report provides a comprehensive review of all sales broken down by product, with a wide range of financial data.

This report is found in Reporting > Financial reports > Product sales.

Invoiced or settled

In the top-left corner, you can change from ‘Invoiced Product Sales’ to ‘Settled Product Sales’ depending on the data you need.

Invoiced product sales

The invoiced report includes product sales for every invoice, regardless of its status, within the given timeframe.

Note: Data from cancelled invoices or £0 sales is not included by default – to see these, use the ‘Show cancelled’ or ‘Show zero value sales’ toggles in the top-right corner.

The invoiced overview displays the following sales amounts for each product, as well as a total:

  • Invoiced
  • Paid
  • Pending
  • Outstanding

For more information on what each invoice status means, see our full invoice management guide here.

Settled product sales

The settled report only shows product sales from invoices which are ‘Reconciled’ – fully paid off. The most common use for this is to export financial information for an accountant or general bookkeeping purposes.

The settled overview displays the following sales data for each product:

  • Paid
  • Total transaction fees
  • Payment provider fee
  • Platform fee (Thrive4)
  • Settled value

Sorting and filtering options

The information in the report, and how it’s displayed, can be adjusted according to your needs.

In the top-left, you can filter to only show certain products, schedules, and addresses.

In the top-right, you can search by product, choose to group the data by product group instead of individual products, and change the timeframe.

  • In the ‘Settled product sales’ report, the timeframe is calculated based on when the invoices became ‘Reconciled’ and the money landed in your account
  • In the ‘Invoiced product sales’ report, the timeframe is calculated based on when the invoices were originally raised
